Seriously, a kid buying a Moolatte shake in one of these would be like if McDonalds offered me Katzenjammer Kids mugs in 1981.

JAMOCHA SHAKES ARE AWESOME

One day I'm going to stumble into some regional Northern Plains fast food franchise and find the walls covered in Hi & Lois memorabilia. Then, I will set that place on fire.

pplains, Thursday, 17 May 2012 19:03 (eleven years ago) link

lol FFM the bus between NY and Boston always stops at a Roy Rogers in CT which is also why they always smell like fried food. The buses, I mean.

wolf kabob (ENBB), Thursday, 17 May 2012 19:06 (eleven years ago) link

hah! I was seduced by the lovely picture of The Perfect Roast Beef Sandwich but it ended up being the very worst. I need to get myself to an Arby's, it's been so long.

only one finger? those places are such ripoffs

dell (del), Thursday, 17 May 2012 19:14 (eleven years ago) link

it was probably like just a knuckle or something

dell (del), Thursday, 17 May 2012 19:14 (eleven years ago) link

I worked in a deli and sliced off my finger tip (only a bit - it grew back) and I quickly told the customer 'I got hurt! She'll serve you!' and pointed to coworker but the guy followed me along the counter to first aid station asking me why I stopped "half way" :( Like, as my manager was washing and wrapping my bleeding finger! Dude. Figure it out (also I told him - albeit quickly because I was bleeding everywhere!)

pplains, Thursday, 17 May 2012 19:17 (eleven years ago) link

ahaha i need to watch "the wrestler" again or at least that scene where he flips the fuck out

dell (del), Thursday, 17 May 2012 19:22 (eleven years ago) link

did you any of you guys experience gino's? i guess it was a regional fast food chain that at one time anyway was licensed to sell kfc stuff.

one time i ordered chicken from them and it was pink. i half-expected to be munching onto veins after that.

dell (del), Thursday, 17 May 2012 19:24 (eleven years ago) link

i think, perhaps unfairly, that quiznos is the chain i would be most skeeved out to eat from.
i think it's that they have a "qu" sound AND a "zuh" sound in their name. sounds weirdly genital.

(Name Withheld to Avoid Hassle) (forksclovetofu), Thursday, 17 May 2012 19:27 (eleven years ago) link

quimzo's! god that's perfect, i wish i was 13 again

goole, Thursday, 17 May 2012 19:27 (eleven years ago) link

We've got a Ginos in town, but I don't know if it's a franchise.

pplains, Thursday, 17 May 2012 19:28 (eleven years ago) link

i could never get down with quiznos. like with all of their sandwiches being heated. WHAT ARE THEY HIDING??

dell (del), Thursday, 17 May 2012 19:31 (eleven years ago) link

We've got a Ginos in town, but I don't know if it's a franchise.

yeah, i should do more research, but at the time i recall (early to mid-eighties?) it was "Gino's" but featuring Kentucky Fried Chicken. sort of weird. that's that synergy i'm talkin about man

dell (del), Thursday, 17 May 2012 19:33 (eleven years ago) link

also, this was pennsylvania. we do things differently in the keystone state my friends

dell (del), Thursday, 17 May 2012 19:34 (eleven years ago) link

What is the possessive form of Arby's the poster? I wanted to congratulate him on his guitar the other day and I think I fluffed the grammar.

Goodbye 20th Centipede (NickB), Thursday, 17 May 2012 20:40 (eleven years ago) link

It's Arby''s isn't it?

Goodbye 20th Centipede (NickB), Thursday, 17 May 2012 20:41 (eleven years ago) link

arby's, Thursday, 17 May 2012 20:45 (eleven years ago) link

If it gets too confusing, you can say America's Roast Beef, Yes Sir!'s guitar.

pplains, Thursday, 17 May 2012 20:47 (eleven years ago) link
