I tried a Barbarian at first because I was super rusty (I hadn't even used a mouse for a few years since I got a trackpad), and now I''m trying the monk. I like the monk more, I have to say.

monk is the thing to do for me

we were double monking the shit out of stuff

ok so monk sounds like a fun char. still havent bought this because no free time at all to play it, but soon i'll get to it. and then go mad because my internet connection sucks and i die all the time due to lags (at least that's what happened a few times during the open beta)

SC2 runs at lowered levels, at least.

I will say it makes my computer very hot. But it runs quite well, only one lock up in two days.

After having played the beta and being very underwhelmed, I'm quite happy with the final game.

Nightmare is *significantly* harder, particularly with certain elites having certain power combinations. Still, nothing is as bad as Rakanishu.

Yet.

Act IV feels suitably epic. But I wanted Stephen O'Malley to have done the soundtrack.

I was playing a game with some guy last night who was into finding every possible thing and exploring entire levels, though. Come on, dude, the entrance to the next dungeon is over here!

hahaha, i'm kind of that dude. at least when i play solo. which is probably why i'm still only partly through Act I!

The game only drops good shit when you kill totally awesome monsters and bosses which seem to be near the goals even more so in this game. If you want a zillion broke-ass shields, knock yourself out :)

i have to destroy all the barrels (and piles of ashes and anything else that is there) because i must set a new record in most object destruction as often as possible.

The Lightning spell with the 'electrocute' glyph is reeeeal good for blowing up barrels. So's Disintegrate. Just stand and spray.

Just finished Act I. This is CRACK.

Dark Phoenix button???

Wizard ability - Archon. You get a death beam with no resource, area of effect explosion and area of effect force punch. 15 second effect, 2 minute cooldown. But... For every enemy you kill in the Archon form, you get a second of the effect back. Kill a big pack and you stay powered up for a long, long time. You can punk minibosses in Normal with just that and not much else.

Not really feeling Demon Hunter. May try monk next.

I'd be happier with monks if there was a Flying Guillotine attack...

I tried the DH and the monk. Neither was as viscerally satisfying as the barbarian.
