I have been experimenting with making different peanut sauces. They're getting better. Mostly peanut butter, chile paste, sunflower oil, sugar, water, and soy sauce right now.
Ginger has been suggested.
Would love to hear ILC's recipes.

I will probably try this again tomorrow. Banking on rice wine vinegar as the new ingredient I add. Some corn syrup might be a nice touch, but I ain't got none.

one of my all time faves:
1 inch root ginger - grated 1 tablespoon crunchy peanut butter 1 squirt tomato puree 1 teaspoon of each : curry paste, half block of creamed coconut 2 cloves garlic and 1 chilli, chopped 3/4 cup water 2 tsbp dark soy sauce

Made a variant this week.
Included freshly squeezed lime, rice wine vinegar, cinnamon, and turmeric.
Sounds zany, but was the best yet, by far.
Plan on making some basil coconut milk curry tomorrow.
