That book is going straight into my wishlist. Definitely have mixed feelings about the use of 'hag', I think it depends on who's using it: in some ways it seems like a reclamation of the term - as LL says, the hag is the hero of the film...

bettis was great, movie itself was only OK.

Yeah, it's not that great of a movie, and the boyfriend character is inane, but it's entertaining and Bettis is super weird and memorable in it.

Sunset Boulevard is more on the thriller side of the spectrum

Yeah, I'm not sure if by this point one more ballot would be doing much but shuffling a few titles a few slots one way or the other, but it would still be neat to see.

Tell you what ... if the response in this thread is supportive, I could see myself holding off results for one more day if you thought you could get a ballot in to me in relatively short order.

No, I'm only doing weekdays. So maybe the way things turn out now, I'll do the first 30 on Thursday and Friday and the remaining spread across all five days next week?

i should have my ballot to Eric within the next half-hr. going fairly old-school, so i doubt it'll shake up the SQ all that much. nor should it require for more img sourcing.

(Right now, I only have the first batch of 15 and I think pillbox was finalizing the next 15 last night.)

(Which, by the way, I think the images Pillbox has worked up are gorgeous. He's going to deserve the lions share of credit for the success of this poll.)
