When I was in high school I thought it would be cool to start a cult and rake in suckers' money, but the huge flaw in the plan was always that I'd have to be able to keep a straight face while shoveling all the pulled-from-my-ass dogma. Plus, I'd have to spend all my time in the company of people who genuinely believed what I knew to be utter bullshit. So I have a weird kind of respect for these people, because they're much better at that stuff than I could ever be. Either that or they believe their own bullshit, in which case...I guess I pity them while envying them the money they've made?
