I was originally aiming to rollout starting next Monday, but I think I'll need an extra day or two to gather some quotes. Haven't even started that yet.

I would very much like Morbs to get in a ballot, as I'm hoping he might bump up some of the older stuff (not an age joke). Although I'd like oddities to make it in, and I don't really give a shit about established canon, I'll definitely be annoyed if there's barely anything pre-50s...

Just sent mine. I hope I listed them correctly-- 50. is my favorite, 49. is my second favorite, 1. is my least fave out of these 50, etc.

agree w/ all this. tho there are over 10 canon films from the 60s/70s I dropped from my ballot to make room for other stuff, my breakdown by decade still looks like:

20s - 2
30s - 2
40s - 1
50s - 3
60s - 7
70s - 18
80s - 8
90s - 5
00s - 4

apparently 1973 was the most horrifying year on record, and, with one off-the-wall exception, all my post 80s picks ended up being non-US.

kino's blu-ray of ganja and hess came out yesterday. one of my last ballot cuts.

Burton's Dark Shadows is set in 1972, which explains why it's not horrifying I guess.

Man. Listening to Mancini's score to Lifeforce right now and it's so damn good. Meant to see the movie in time for this poll, but a long visit from the mother-in-law prevented that. Maybe I'd have ended up with three Tobe Hooper joints on my ballot instead of two...
