not that i know but that's what basically everyone who has read the books says about the show

i have been reading the spoilers thread i must admit

frankly i prob wouldve just read the wikipedia summaries of all the books by now except that theyre not even finished so whats the point

have tried real hard to avoid all spoilers. so far, i've managed to protect my virtue* from the taint of undesired knowledge. did read one thing abt tyrion that i hope doesn't happen, but i gather it lies beyond this season.

I am reading the books now b/c I keep spoiling myself through, like, googling fairly innocuous questions about background stuff re: religion or history of westeros. books are v entertaining thus far and I usually hate this shit.

3 episodes in. tyrion at least can lay claim to some sense.

I opened the spoiler thread thinking it would be fine as I've read up to book 4, but there's a real arse of a spoiler for something that presumably happens in book 5 right in the first post.

have watched all four new episodes now. getting bored. in the space of four hours, danaerys has made it to a city, tyrion has schemed effectively, various kings have rattled their swords, joffrey has been a dick, baelish has schemed ineffectively, jaime has sat in a cage, snow has visited an incest family, bran has had a dream, arya has been captured, and lady stark has traveled about a bit.
