Man this really has an awesome B-side! Thanks for the tip. I love H&O but would never thought to check this album.

This period of their career defines "uneven" but there's stuff like this.

I'm a huge H&O fan, but is it odd my all-time favourite song of theirs is "Out of Touch?"

Yeah Abandoned Luncheonette only has like 3 songs I need. Listening to the self-titled (with glammo cover photo) right now though and it's pretty solid. I rly should venture out of the safety zone of their perfect self-produced phase.

xposting a bit. So the album that H&O hated wasn't "Bigger Than Both of Us." It was "Beauty on a Back Street." They're wrong about that as well. There are a bunch of tracks from it that are great, but this is the one that's just killing me lately. Comparisons? God, it's a 6 minute long mix of hard 70's rock and maybe Sparks on the chorus, and then this freaked out "I'm the doctor! I'm the doctor!" chant at the end. I've gone through back catalogs of an awful lot of 80s/90s bands, and can't think of one that has more interesting stuff lurking than H&O.
