personally i don't care but i don't think we've found any collective clarity about whether this is a house/techno poll or something wider than that, you can arm wrestle w/ durr durr durr if you want

tbh though i think from checking out what's been nominated so far by people, seems like d'n'b is not going to garner very many votes and i doubt trad dubstep will either so i'm not sure it'd be worth the trouble

because some stuff is starting to creep in the list (juke, footwork, dubstep, etc) that i imagine at least one person might find iffy and i imagine it's only a matter of time before someone nominates something that more than one person finds iffy

or who knows, maybe we've just reached that point of "fuck it, nom what you want" consensus

ALSO we will eventually need to import this into a spreadsheet and it would be very helpful if everyone delimited their nominations the same way ...

remixers get added to the track title, it's not ideal but it's better than adding them in with the orig artist

yeah, that's the best way to handle remixes right now

at the end when we tally and analyze which artists placed the best we can manually work them back into the artist category

in other words, in that sort of final analysis, wasserman would get the points for the regensburg remix rather than markus guenter (the original artist)
