That is so awesome.

I've discovered something I really hate about Kino. I've been trying to find Je55 to follow, but it only gives me three options to find a friend: suggested, Facebook or Twitter. I can't just enter Je55e's profile name and follow him from there.

Only reason I got g48080 followed is because I lucked out and saw him in the HOT section.

Unless I'm just dense in which case they need to make it a little less denser.

If anyone wants to follow me, I'm here

PP, I'll follow you back. gr80, I'd like to follow you as well. Anyone else OTT too.

I'm w/ pp here, I can't figure out how to follow anyone. I am dense though, so maybe it's me.

there's something very rich about how kinotopic's functionality is so terrible while ist creators obv focused so much on its ~design~

This is pretty cool, though not gif-specifically so.

Kinotopic supposedly has this new feature where you can animate parts of the same picture at two different speeds? Not sure if it works though.

The kids are at normal speed while the cat's supposedly at 2x.

Can you believe the speed limit here is only 55 MPH? Ridiculous.

Again, not really a gif, but more like a live feed.

Kinotopic's update added some nice features. I still wish it would save the gif to the phone instead of having to upload it though! Last night I made one that I was very happy with but the data connection was terrible so it just would not upload and I had to abandon it.

i made some gifs from some animations i did a few years ago. i was experimenting with After Effects inspired by this incredible book "Digital Harmony: On the Complementarity of Music and Visual Art" by the multi-threat legendary 60s computer animation family the Whitneys. they were working with early computers and using them to control cameras, so they devised a way to use superimposition to multiply the motion, creating the clouds and vector line glyphs and shapes that morphed from one to another. i didn't get very far so i ended up cheating and copying and rotating every line of spinning circles or lines to make a 360 kaleidoscopic thing. some of it looks cool tho.
