anyway, episode left me a bit cold. i agree with whoever said it should've just been photos and interviews and letters and stuff. the really funny things could've been shared with cheap phone recordings. and after all that setup i was disappointed the main conflict was solved so simply and then it somehow managed to recenter the show on jeff rather than troy/abed.

Mmm...I admittedly fail more often than I'd like to make it clear when I'm joking on ILX (despite my fandom, my defensive posts have been fairly tongue-in-cheek), but I feel like I'm a little more successful at not being a straight-up asshole. Ymmv as to which is more irritating, I guess.

Final episode of the show should be all the hilarious Chevy improv scenes that got cut.

If the gag reels are any indication, the only improvising Chevy does is forgetting his lines and missing his cues all the fucking time.

tbf those gag reels were probably cut together by someone who hates him

and calling other cast members "assholes" for getting their lines right and meeting their cues

did he improvise that gag with the soft serve ice cream a few eps back? because my parents chuckled at it and were like "classic chevy humor" while i thought it was embarrassingly tedious

that definitely felt like it was a sop to him, a "go on then" to let him prove how much more hilarious he is than Troy & Abed

community is super awesome, but it has yet to surpass fletch in greatness. abed would agree with me.

Chevy gets some of the best one liners but also some of the clunkiest bits, and if some of those are his own idea that might explain a lot.
