why do I sit with my legs folded under me until they go to sleep and then ARGGGGHHH WHY WHY WHY

Often, I'll snooze in such a way that my legs both fall asleep. I won't know that until I try to stand up and I find myself on the floor, face down.

My mother did this once except that she fell over and BROKE BOTH HER LEGS :/

One worse than the other but I know both were pretty messed up. She just toppled over and landed on top of herself.

Do you guys also do the hopeless limp-running around the sofa to try to wake your sleeping leg up? IT HURTS, BUT IT'S THE ONLY WAY.

E, your story is horrifying. I've blacked out from standing up too quickly (especially at the gym after working out), but I've always had a few seconds of 'ooh, I'm going to fall' before actually falling.
