It's one of Steve Moore's aliases - he also releases stuff under his own name (which rules, but I expect you wouldn't like it - it's much more along the lines of John Carpenter soundtracks and that kind of thing), as well as as half of Zombi, Gianni Rossi, Miracle (which has a kind of a would-be Depeche Mode schtick), and more. He rules, anyway.

I was watching Near Dark last night and I guess Steve references / pinches the intro to John Parr's 'Naughty Naughty' at the start of Burning Feeling.
