My understanding is the fight was threeway - first bride against groom for not telling the best man, then best man against groom from the same reason, then bride against best man for not rushing in.

seems like the groom suggested it, the bride was excited, they thought the best man would be pleasantly surprised, instead he was unpleasantly surprised, the groom was insulted, the pairing started scuffling, the father of the bride was like "what's all this about boys" and felt the whole thing was a dishonor on his daughter when he found out the truth, and then having had it all made public the bride, angry and publicly humiliated, went ham on the rejecting best man

its all implied but its all there imo

though yeah whether it was groom or bride's suggestion is hard to read

seemed like the bride's to me

still tho why would you not want to do that like slightly before or after the wedding
