Anyway yeah a Freaky Trigger Radio is an urgent and key task for me when I do get it.

The PE posts were about three weeks ago (anlong with the 6 Music not following up on their punk weekender cos Queen Mum poopped her clogs) - in the mists of message board time I couldn't be arsed to find it. I listened to it about two weeks ago (I-net Radio at work) and Liz Kershaw i even worse now than she was back in the day. Her Lloyd Cole (!) interview was excrable.

That Freaky Trigger Radio (or Radio ILX or whatever) would be good - but it could only ever be the second best Internet Radio Station after this one.

I would say they were mutually sustaining. My point is that sneering at Q readers, an established ILX sport, is no more edifying than Q fans sneering at Smash Hits readers.

Yeah but the point is that not everyone on ILX sneers at Q Readers. So we argue about it.

As for when Freaky Trigger, say, has a go at people for attacking pop it's not that we think it's bad to attack people in general (or "sneer at" people if you want to stick with that loaded term), it's that we think they're wrong about pop.

Come on has anyone seen that 6Music playlist its crap Sheryl Awful Crow, Stereocrapophonics, Crappy Temple Clause sounding like orrible Oasis gone more rawk, Badly Drawn Boring, orribleHaven - even more boring the Travis, Hundred grunge-by-karaoke Reasons.

It's a Joke, there so much music released each week that does not get played - 6music like many other radio stations select their music from what ever pluggers/ major record companies promotions depts stick in front of them. Smaller independents cant afford pluggers - an the only way the get played if a: the presenter selects their own music ala Peel and John Kennedy - this country needs more maverick DJs and less lazy playlist crap.
