not made for gigging

It made it through the gig, but i wouldn't "GIG" gig with it (ya dig?)

i wouldn't gig with it b/c it wouldn't be as fun as playing through a tube amp.

It would be fun for messing around and maybe recording, but I wouldn't gig with it.

Warm up backstage (but they don't have a backstage here in the Philippines) and use it in your bedroom, but don't gig with it.

So I don't gig with it. I baby my gear.

In my opinion, don't buy this pedal, unless it's just for kicks and giggles in your basement. Don't gig with it unless you want people leaving the show covering their ears.

Against my better judgement... i gigged with it; i'll never gig with it again. Only gig-worthy gear for me & my gigs.

just bought a phenomenal piece of gear, allows me to do many new things as well as making what i already do sound better. really, i haven't been this happy with a purchase for a looooong time- can't stop playing!!!

-having said that, i'd never gig with it.

It is true that the paint chips easily so if you want it to look pretty, you shouldn't gig with it.

I'm not 100% sure I'd trust the stock switch for a gig.

I wouldn't use it as my main gigging rig, but it's ok for a backup.

So, for me, the answer to my question is, no, its not gigworthy yet

let me revise my last post and clarify that although you could put a mic in front of a vibro champ and gig with it, it's not very practical.

This has to be the most un-gigworthy '70s amp I have ever seen the guts of.

Been advised to not do any heavy lifting as a result of a hernia, yet still want to keep gigging.

I too bought the chilli dog as my first pedal. for the money, its cheeky fun, but the issues of pitching the octave on the E and to a degree on the A strings render it ungiggable really.

It's good for a gig and it's small enough to carry by hand.

Injured myself at last night's gig.

Last night's gig was kind of the icing on the cake.

Well, last night's gig will go down as one of the Top 10 Gigs of my lifetime. It was like playing to the front row of a concert all night.

So I brought the Heritage H140 LP to last night's gig and dragged it out for 'Sweet Home Alabama' and 'Takin Care of Business' .

Last night's gig was possibly the last straw-showed up late, already drunk with his I don't give a **** attitude on...

Unboxing the unit reveals a thin and light unit that feels quite plastic and not exactly gig-ready.

I'm planning on picking up the bass, and I've decided that I'm probably going to get the Rumble 350, by Fender. I'm planning on joining my church band when I'm good enough, so the amp has to be gig worthy. We have one LOUD guitarist, one bassist (although they said they might accept another one), one keyboardist, one drummer, and three vocals.

...it's very dependable...and i'd wouldn't gig with it unless i had a backup...but that's not the guitar's fault...that's mine...because i use many detunings, and would rather switch guitars that detune it in the middle of a show. but if i was to have one set tuning...i'd take it..

I have an Epihone Zakk Wylde bullseye. It took a direct hit from an EF5 tornado, followed by 3 days outdoor exposure to torrential rains. It was mummified in a coating of wind blown insulation, tar, and debris. I cleaned it off, changed the strings, and started playing - great guitar, amazing quality. Definitely gig-worthy equipment!

I think that same exact thing has happened to Zakk Wylde himself a couple times!

behringer powered mixer went out at a record store gig, yet it was still gig worthy- provided 'gig worthy' means an 18yr old kid lying on the floor and banging on various edges of the device while the mics stuttered away.

The 1959 amp with the gain dialed back sounds very good for a crunchy type of tone, too. Think I'm going to gig that setup this friday.

You'll have to hire piano movers if you're going to gig that rig....

IMHO, oil finishes can be gorgeous and are just fine for guitars that receive occasional use (as do most gunstocks). But if you're going to gig that guitar regularly, you'll eventually appreciate it a whole lot less.

None of my guitars are worth $4K. But if one were,I would definitely gig it.

Yes, that was an interesting experience, to buy a Private Stock and immediately gig it, kind of nerve-wracking.

Even cut down as being too techniqual & soulless from guys who would kill for my gigs ...

Are you familiar with monitoring a mic'd signal through a wedge/headphones, or are you a guitar-cab-pants-flapping guy?

As I said, I don't expect pants flapping bass but I do need something that won't fart out all the time at ~90-95 dB.
