Am halfway through "The Rider", thirded. And may as well recommend "French Revolutions" by Tim Moore for empathy and laffs, and Paul Kimmage's "Rough Ride".

Heh I know - I started reading it while in Wales after Xmas and it was pretty much a social weekend so I only got a few pages snatched here and there. I picked it up yesterday and couldn't remember where I'd got to :/

two years pass...

I'm about two-thirds of the way through 'Pedalare, Pedalare' by John Foot - the story of Italian cycling. I read 'Calcio' (also by him) about five years ago (the story of Italian football). Kind of interesting, if you like cycling and Italy - maybe one for MarkC?
