That part was good - possibly funny - bc it was actually true and unique to Chicago unlike the rest of that crap.

Ct's sister sent us the Long Island one and it was at least tolerable bc it was LI-specific and not in dumb, obvious ways (eg Guidos, saying "Long Guyland") but like "We have to transfer at Jamaica??"

I'll have you know I remember Rich Koz (aka Svengoolie) from his days hosting the after-school block of kids' programming on Ch. 32 in the early '90s. Also went to high school with his niece, iirc.

We accidentally scheduled an importan board meeting on Sunday in which we welcome and orient new members. It never even came up in the planning in that we scheduling it for Superbowl Sunday, which is pretty lol.

it was v. v. entertaining when they demolished the tebow broncos
rob gronkowski is pretty fun to watch
belichek's coldness and ruthlessness are appealing in a movie villain style
and
i pretty much always root against NY sports teams

but yeah i don't really care that much about either team

I rooted for the Patriots vs. the Giants four years ago b/c I wanted them to make NFL HISTORY. But since that's not an issue this time around, I don't care who wins.
