I was looking at previous poll results, and there's really an unending supply of stuff I haven't heard, heh. You know what would be cool, is an ongoing master list of albums from all the metal polls. Ranking by just points might be a bit off as different numbers of people voted various years. Maybe percentage of total points?

Okay, maybe super-geeky rather than cool.

I will! it's funny, at first I just noticed him at parent meetings (ie "hmmm that longhair over there appears to be quite the hesher, must be in a band") and then a vinyl copy of 17th Street showed up at the school auction and I was like AHA

his kid and my kid are friends, which is cute

Wow, that Corrupted album is like beautiful.

I think this is my favourite Mastodon album.

The Hammers of Misfortune isn't on Grooveshark but I've made it through the rest of the top 20 now. I really liked everything except Uncle Acid and Altar of Plagues. Maybe those could grow on me.

i have been playing the shit out of uncle acid, sorry i missed it during the year.

altar of plagues was boring, though. i have yet to really get behind boring arty black metal.
