I can't wait for the inevitable curation of Hot Creations because it will be one disc of great post-minimal vocal house and it will be all I need.

i think what hot creations is doing has a lot more in common with azari & iii style vocal house revivalism than anything else, and i love it - even tho yes it can be somewhat formulaic

theres a dOP 12" 'after party' that i really vibe and a bunch of remixes by ppl that i vaguely recognize. they arent updating their website which is p lol but they only have four 'official' releases

the talking on the mic is 100% them trolling listeners like ronan imo

also love this, it's like "you've fallen completely into their trap"...OR maybe there's no problem with speaking on the mic, they just say really stupid cringey shit.

well too much of a good thing is not good, bro. I mean, I enjoy all of tale of us previous remixes but when I heard this track, I thought, oh not this bass sound again.

yea... was going to say, i dig most of what i've heard from tale of us. i get the impression that i value aesthetic consistency more than other ppl itt based on this and other comments re: hot creations

didn't really pay this one much attention until the ra eoy poll but it's excellent (also turns out it's on life and death. i will now pay attention to this label)

the new/original productions on 'remaster of the universe' sorta hinted that he might start doing the whole wacky live band thing a whole lot more

His remix of Bjorn Torske's Langt Fra Afrika is more along these lines - I hear a real bossa nova influence in it, it's fun enough but kinda disappointing in the context of his current run of original material.
