You got to think part of the hitting the reset on the Polians was the whole hire your son as your replacement. I don't think Irsay has anything against Bill Polian, he did alot of good things and is probably the key guy to saving that franchise in Indianapolis. The last few drafts definitely have not been successful as the first 6 or 7 and putting your son as GM - nepotism is always a weird deal most of the time.

also it's been long rumored that chris polian is a major league asshole

anyway jordan that would make the most logical sense but irsay is the one who has publicly promised to pick up peyton's option (and who peyton is apparently closest with) while the polians are generally regarded as the ones who were most interested in luck.

all of that may mean absolutely nothing of course but it's what we have to work with so far.
