Has anyone been watching MISFITS on E4?

Yeah very disappointing but at the same time expectedly so. Sheehan really carried the show and I just don't particularly care about the other characters.

New guy = rubbish, they tried to overload his character with Nathan-style filth lines and the actor didn't have the charm to carry it off.

Exactly, all the anal sex stuff etc. was trying way too hard

Anyone still watching? I think it's becoming a bit Shameless in attempting to up the WTFness with every episode but there are still lols to be had.
New bloke completely abandoned his sensitive side this week in favour of being 100% sleaze ball.

Curtis proves it's hard out there for a girl - switched gender for five minutes and managed to be sexually assaulted by three different men.

Looks like some actually story-arc stuff coming up next week. Good.

I thought this week's episode was OK, but last week's was definitely poor.

omg Mr Veg has got me totally hooked on this; just started Season 1 and I love it!

Found myself really enjoying season 1. Started season 2 and just stopped though.

Not that there was a drop in quality, mind. Just one of those things.

Yeah me too. Did rather like this, for very similar reasons to True Blood - camp, over the top, ridiculous fun.

Just discovered this before Xmas. First 2 seasons = some of the best TV I've ever seen. Xmas special is seriously wonky and bad. First two episodes of Season 3 entirely shit the bed and I am not going to watch any more. What a shame. It goes from a great, cliche-shredding, thoughtfully and ribaldly funny show about "superheroes" set in a dark and shadowy and weird real world, and then suddenly turns into Hollyoaks with charmless comedy characters.

Recently discovered this show - it's on Hulu in the US. This thread is OTM. Cool to see folks views expressed in real time about what is/was great about the show. And when, sadly, the show abruptly stopped being good. We didn't know anything about the show before watching it. Season 3, episode 1 was so wrong we rage quit. Usually after investing in a show for 2 seasons I'll give them benefit of the doubt. But S3 E1 was so bad, the new lead guy so WTF terrible, we just quit. Hulu tells me they made 5 seasons???

Anyway, the first 2 seasons are brilliant & well worth the time. Just don't open season 3.

Oh no, actually I just checked wiki and iirc we stuck it out to finish the main characters' arc till the end of s03, but it sucked so bad we had no desire to continue into s04
