Man. "Dune Walker" sounds like Iggy Pop and Steve McKay over a seriously reduced, almost fried Basic Channel track. And then the guitar starts.

new album's really interesting, i like how he switched it up just a little bit, like another album of murky rockabilly would've been a retread but it's still super-recognisably dirty beaches

six years pass...

Just heard the August At Akiko's soundtrack and finding it difficult to believe this is the same guy. Some really nice jazz improv here. Was there talk about this album somewhere I might have missed? Also is it weird that Factory released this?

Anyone seen the film?
