Ah, that's great to hear! Is he still doing chip-tunes? I know he's put out a couple of CD's, but I don't know if it's of his computer music, or non-computer music, or what... will have to investigate further!

cmon guys the actual sonic 2 sdtrk is way more interesting than yr terrible misremembered versions. it was p jazzy!

mystic cave zone was pretty intense, bassline was ridic, i think young jeezy cld do a good job w/ it. & the beat was lively

Savaged Regime - Angel Island: Past, Present & Future EP

It's just four different takes on the Angel Island music from Sonic 3, but they're transformative enough that this might as well be an original EP. The Good Future version is astounding, they pretty much turned the song into Pacific State by 808 State.

The boss music on SOnic 2 for the Game Gear is identical to 'Cubik' by 808 State
'Together Again' by Janet Jackson is very similar to a Sonic tune
