I googled "woman inside horse" and the results made me question humanity, the power of google image search... they made me question a lot of things.

A guy in my high school blew of most of his left hand when one of his homemade pipe bombs went off. He ended up having two toes grafted to what was left to form a claw-like grabbing thing that seemed to work pretty well - he still played basketball and you could hardly tell he was missing most of his hand.

Thinking about this has me kind of o_O at how 20 years ago in a small town a dude could have a pipe bomb go off in his parent's house and since he was a "good" kid and wasn't crazy or angry it wasn't that big a deal. All the kids knew he made pipe bombs, he just liked to blow up old mineshafts and trees and shit. Today he'd probably be locked up and under evaluation for the rest of his life.

yep. we had biweekly bomb threats at my school from kids who were trying to get out of tests. I'm sure most of them would be in jail now.

Kids used to get away with a lot of shit under the "kids will be kids" excuse. Any time a kid gets in trouble for something innocuous now, I roll my eyes so damn hard.
