Trey & Matt ARE way more libertarian. i think the writer just picked & chose examples from the show that matched up to his point, and ignored the rest.

also, i think the guys target stupid busybodies overall, rather than any particular agenda.

you don't see them filming anti-tax screeds, for examples.
