It's never too early to call Dampier a washout. I jumped on the 'Dampier is a bust' wagon before the ink was dry on his contract. There was nothing about that deal that made sense to me.

Well, admittedly the fact that the Mavs traded out CHRISTIAN LAETTNER on the same deal that gave them Dampier does seem kinda strange and possibly foolhardy.... Eh. Oh well. I is a SPURS fan. Etc.

Question: If the Mavs traded Erick Dampier to Burger King for an order of chicken fries, what would Burger King do with him? Is he responsible enough to man the fry-o-later? Would he be completely useless until the week leading up to his quarterly review, in which time he would work just hard enough to convince the store manager to give him a raise?
