You are allowed 4 nominations each. These will be the characters we actually vote on, so as to keep the numbers down and increase statistical rigour ;)

You can suggest nominations to spark the imaginations of others yet to nominate, if you're greedy and think there are more than 4 good characters in comics.

Ditto for Professor Calculus and Scrooge McDuck. It's kinda funny, Tintin won the ILC poll, yet I guess no one would even think of nominating Tintin himself, because he's (deliberately) hollow. Yeah, I thought "wait, is that cheating?" as soon as I pressed submit. I think that there's a case to be made for it, but I can't extend it much beyond "they always appear together!" (which can be said for tons of characters obv) and "they're dull on their own!" (same thing).

If I chose the Dupont brothers instead would I have to choose one?

I think the Dupondt's should count as one character, because (besides the slight difference in the moustache) they're impossible to distinguish from each other - they both act exactly the same, and have no personal traits unique to only one of them.

I guess this isn't the case with Lone Wolf and Cub.
