What you need is "Cluck! The True Story of Chickens in the Cinema" by Jon-Stephen Fink (Virgin Books) O/P, but I have a copy and so does this place:

Pink Flamingoes isn't really a modern European thriller is it?

Does it have eggs in it? When? I can't remember if I own it but I at least know people who will - or is it just that, um, Flamingos lay eggs?

And someone else has suggested Tampopo to me but I don't know anything about it - is it easy to get hold of?
