Somehow I completely missed they'd announced an American tour! Looking forward to this -- seen them before for the second album so it's been some time.

I'm wondering if they're one of the longest-running 5-piece bands with their original line up still intact. 15(?) years may not sound like a lot but when you think of how few bands there are with 5 members and no bail-outs..

5-piece, you might be right. (U2 might hold the record for 4-piece? Coming up on forty years. ZZ Top for trio, surely; not even Rush could claim that.)

It's also kinda remarkable that they literally grew up together in the band now and have also managed the trick of coming up with songs that are great singles without repeating what they've done. Hell of a knack.
Radiohead are probably the popular record-holders for a 5-piece - 30+ years

Oh right, duh. Talk about the elephant in the room!
