alternate title: "I Can't Believe It's Not Stereolab!!"
earlier flowchart was pretty good but i thought their last album was shithouse
"Gee Bee" was a decent EP, but after that ... yeah.

I got the single "Sideshow all the way" after John Peel had mentioned them as being "like stereolab" but that one is more a toned down MBV (in a good way). Then I got the Darla "Bliss out" one, and "WOW" it's not like anybody obvious, and I played it endlessly. Later got the "Multi etc" as listed (one of the tracks actually is called "New Radiolab-Rip-Off" but there you go) but was less struck by it to say the least.
One of those artists that can go from "Brilliant" to "Pants" and you have no way of knowing which...

Bleach could possibly be my favourite Nirvana LP. The fast songs kick, and the slooow ones practically melt in your (my) ears, courtesy of WAY-tuned down guitar/bass. Many examples of "Kurdt" Cobain's "why write three verses when you can just write one and sing it three times?" lyric approach, pioneered by Iron Butterfly 20 years earlier.
