(Stormy, if Trilogy is not essential, which ELP albums are? I'd vote it third or fourth after Tarkus, the first album, and possibly Brain Salad Surgery.)

"The Journey" is a really ace find, very unique now let alone when it was recorded in the early 70s. I'm kind of surprised it hasn't caught on with the krautrock fans as a UK example of late psychedelia meets early electronic music.

you know, whatever the hell this thread was about, i was going to post on it to say that kingdom come's "journey" is fucking awesome
also, for those of you into shitty audience bootlegs, "time captives: manchester free trade hall, 1973-04-24" is a good one

There are some pretty strong deep cuts on the s/t Crazy World lp. I have always loved Child of My Kingdom, Come & See Come & Buy and Rest Cure.
& i would definitely recommend Kingdom Come's Galactic Zoo Dossier which is great late psychedelia/space rock from 1971

i have a track of arthur brown doing a song called "the fire-ant said to the cockroach" that came with the genre tag "Bloody Weird", fair enough I figure
also kingdom come's "journey" was tagged ""Progressive Rock"", with the scare quotes, again not an opinion i felt compelled to revise

I tend to think there's something of merit in every Arthur Brown release I've ever heard, but of them all Journey is my favorite, followed by Galactic Zoo Dossier.
