"Maybe The People..." is fantastic, but it doesn't seem like a very danceable song.

If I were you, I'd play "I Only Wanna Be With You" by Dusty Springfield, "I Washed My Hair" by the 5AM Event, anything off the LA Happening comp, some Major Lance, and "Rosalyn" by the Pretty Things.

Can anyone tell me what that KFC tune is? "All i need is moonlight, music and you..."

laura greene - moonlight, music and you

my top 5 (all a little obvious but i promise they will work.)

the flirtations - nothing but a heartache
gloria jones - tainted love
the sonics - shot down / have love will travel
spencer davis group - i'm a man
mel torme - i'm coming home

and for the ultimate end of the night tearjerker - etta james - i'd rather go blind or nina simone's - feeling good.
