Yeah but "Surfin Bird" would win against pretty much EVERY band's complete catalog. So this poll is meaningless.

billstevejim, Saturday, 1 October 2011 00:14 (twelve years ago) link

like seriously...

the complete beatles vs. surfin bird
the complete t.rex vs. surfin bird
the complete velvet underground vs surfin bird
etc
etc
etc

The only song that's better than "Surfin Bird" is like "Walk Don't Run" or "I Only Have Eyes For You" so obviously..

Is this a test to see if people are retarded?

man Surfin Bird without a second thought. Never liked Radiohead in the slightest (and that's not frontin either, I like plenty of uber popular bands, like U2)

Surfin' Bird is great, but way too long. Unlike Radiohead's catalog, which is great, but way too l... WAIT A MINUTE - why is there no draw option in the poll?

Whether or not one loves "Surfin' Bird" - and who doesn't? - certainly one of the biggest problems with Radiohead is that they have likely never played and definitely never will cover "Surfin' Bird." Betcha can't say that about R.E.M. ...

Never really heard them but the warning sign is people writing about it. People only write about things that are bad further exacerbating inherent anxiety.

When a record is good "yes mates" is all that can be said, or some convivial variant.

The Surfing Bird record is more efficient, it means someone nearby is preparing to fill you in. Once the blows start raining down the soundtrack changes to one of the Radiohead records. You have to keep your wits about you if you hear any of this music or something that sounds like it might be this music.
