ok, looking at this, it seems that it is from the perspective of the men who are in love with/obsessed with lulu. probably.

i'm just trying to wrap my head around the idea of an actual human being sitting down and writing the phrase "Kotex jukebox"

"kotex jukebox" is the best part of those lyrics, as gross as it is it's pretty much the only thing that isn't a cliche or just boring strings of words
― congratulations (n/a), Thursday, 29 September 2011 20:08 (twelve years ago) link
it's crazy enough to imagine lou singing "The taste of your vulva, everything on it"but imagine if that's a hetfield-sung line omg
― tylerw, Thursday, 29 September 2011 20:09 (twelve years ago) link
Yeah, I went through those lyrics too, suddenly thinking "Oh, no, what if that's a Jamez line?"

probably not a james line

Maybe he was just saying "Vulv", but that metal Mark E. Smith voice he uses took over.

In the cover art, Lulu is on a white table. Think about it.

i welcome this collaboration. it's a convenient, efficient means to end two careers that urgently must end.

With the impending doom of Loutallica and its 19-minute "Junior Dad" lurking in the pre-release shadows, it's time to list the Ten Worst Heavy Metal Albums of All-Time. (For those blissfully unaware, Loutallica is the forthcoming Lou Reed / Metallica album that no one is looking forward to.)http://new.music.yahoo.com/blogs/listoftheday/141511/the-ten-worst-heavy-metal-albums-of-all-time/

That's an amusing article, but hey.
"Never say die" has an awful cover, but.
I don't know any of those albums well enough to say yay or nay.

I've just heard this for the first time today, and it made for a really fucking odd experience. When Hetfield's vocals came in I thought I was listening to some theatrical heavy metal showtune or something, y'know... like one of those songs from a musical where there's a narrator and it's punctuated by bits of singing... and that's before I squirted my coffee through my nose when he started barking that he was the table.

There are almost as many hilarious lines by Fricke in that RS story as there are in "Dragon".

I couldn't read that Fricke story. Scared I'd laugh so hard, it'd feel like someone was trying to claw out my collarbone with their fingernails.
