Jill Hives to me always seemed like the godchild of Official Ironmen.

Jill Hives is a good later period one, sort of a unique sound for GBV, dig the reverb-y vocals. but i didn't vote for it. too many good songs!

I was hoping that "Jill Hives" would make the top 10. Oh well. (It was my #3)

It danced with the top 10 for a long time until the last couple days worth of ballots came in.

Same with If We Wait. Its 4 #1 votes came in early and I thought for sure it would be top 10. It only dropped to 13 late.

OK this is too low. My favorite by far on Bee Thousand. Really surprised it had no #1's, I was deliberating between this and what I ended up putting at #1 til the last minute.

Echos Myron is a song I used to really like at the height of my GBV obsession in the 90s, but consider to be really middle-of-the-pack now.

Ironmen is another one of those tracks that could have been iconic for any other group but is almost a dime a dozen for Pollard.

Love the vocal delivery on Goldheart and the flute(?) in the background. It does remind me of Tortoise Brand Pot Scrubbing Cleaner though...

Yeah, not much to say once you get up to these top ones. This was on my ballot. It's a good song, my second favorite on Bee Thousand.

I like that the DTC youtube wasn't posted. The overwhelming simplicity of the bass and rhythm guitar on that song distracts me to the point of not liking the song at all
