I don't know if every mod follows the same rule of thumb -- they may pick a login attempt they like, OK it and reject the other(s). But if I see same IP and 2 or more different login emails and/or 2 or more different screen names, I reject them all.

I approved three today, two Friday. The mods don't get together and take a daily count, so I don't know the total.

I figured I'd probably be rejected for trying on another handle (which I didn't like - it's hard to find one under which you want to post frequently) with the same email address. Yeah, if you reregister a new account with an existing login (email address) it won't go through. As long as you don't register multiple times at once, should be no problem.

i lurked for a long time before i started posting - now, as an established z-list poster, i can look back on thousands of my own inconsequential shitposts and think 'at least i have this collection of worthless opinions and pisspoor lowercase 'jokes' to show for wasting my time on ilx'

I've been posting here since my jr. high-aged nephew was born (nb: I don't actually have a nephew) and, although the urge to lurk was at times strong, I've found that getting knocked around a bit for shooting my mouth off has been helpful in my development into arguably the freshest and most provocative voice on the board (Variety's words, not mine).
