Should I Buy This? Yes/No

I have a raincoat like that and it is...not breathable. Good for walking the dogs in the rain, though.

supposedly it has a "breathable lining". maybe i just need to go XL so that there's tons of air circulation. i <3 the color so much.

Yeah, I would imagine that a raincoat like this made now would be superior to the 80s version that I am still wearing around. Mine is green and has whales on the inside.

i think breathable lining is just a layer of mesh? i've had that before on rain jacket and it did nothing to help the breathability.

that navy suit came in -- it's super nice and the jacket fits perfectly in the shoulders. phew. i'll obviously need to take it to a tailor -- I need the pants hemmed and the sleeves lengthened, maybe I'll have the trouser legs tapered a little and the waist suppressed, but all in all it's exactly the sort of starter suit i've been looking for.

i wish i had occasion to wear more suits. only wear them about twice a year (weddings, prom).

yeah, i don't have much occasion either. my only existing suit was an emergency funeral purchase, which was fine but not quite good enough. i like that this new suit is a true navy blue and not just a flat midnight blue -- just bright enough to stay youthful without being too bold.
