mm, meant to start a thread like this myself

I would definitely be into paperbacks if I had the time / money / space.
Whenever I see a kool book nowadays I just imagine it getting packed into a cardboard box and going into storage. (i've been moving a lot.) Oh yeah, and "true story" type men's magazines for the illustrations. Weird that I never really caught the comic book bug, maybe if the older guys that hung out at my local weren't so creepy I would have.

For a bit there I was kinda into hand held video games and calculators from the late 70s early 80s, i got one of these guys for cheap

oh yeah, duh. stereoviews. something else that I was starting to accumulate in a halfassed way.

I've been considering collecting Erector Sets. I want to make little racks to put other things onto.

Like this kind of.

but it's between 12 and 70 dollars for a new erector set, and I don't trust the piece counts on the boxes. Probably all bolts.

i half-heartedly collect books. not neccesarilly vintage paperbacks (tho i always look for sci-fi & crime when thrifting) but just stuff i like to read. but i don't treat books the same way i treat records. i rarely re-read them, so i tend to give them away rather than accumulate.
