... and now Carver in the season finale of The Good Wife. You'd think that show would be set in Baltimore instead of Chicago.

Anyone watch the Dominic/Fred West thing then? Not sure what i though of it tbh
― Number None, Monday, 5 September 2011 17:31 (twelve years ago) link
It made me laugh.

McNutty was fun in the very gory yet entertaining "Centurion"

Probably already mentioned, but I noticed in the four minutes of that awful Jonah Hex movie that I could tolerate, that Lance Reddick is in it and appears to play some sort of Q-type character.

McNulty as Fred West
He was good, the programme started off OK and got gradually more terrible

My wife bought me the Blu-Ray Star Wars set and so I got to see the deleted scene where McNulty gets a line of dialog!

dominic west was _really_ good as iago! he does a credible sheffield accent (lol eton) and when he is lying (which happens a lot in othello) he breaks out his weird lying face (perfected in season 5)

He was actually born there but, yeah, I imagine any Sheffield accent would not have survived Eton

And then he went to Trinity. Poor accent never had a chance.

i think that's part of why he was cast. pretty sure he's done the crucible before. he was the only one doing a non-RSC accent except peters, who was doing the same accent as morgan freeman in robin hood prince of thieves

omar was on law & order this weekThis past week I watched like 8 various Law & Orders at various times and ALL of them had Wire actors in them somewhere. Nick Sobotka as a failed actor. Burrell as an upstate cop, sorta improbably letting Benson's brother off the hook for shooting a hostage. Carver as Goren's temporary replacement. Rawls as a convict/informant. Method Man terrorizing Nigerians. Judge Phelan as a New York judge. Omar as that hitman. It might have been more than 8, even.
both carver and bunk play nigerians in the same l & o episode
