Certain people you keep seeing all the time (on gigs or demonstrations or festivals, in cinemas or pubs, at the campus, etc), but don't actually know them.

it makes sense that several of the posts in this thread are about Beatle Bob. some very sad news - he announced today he has lou gehrig's disease (ALS), and won't be dancing tonight. other than 85 days that he missed during the pandemic, somehow he attended a show EVERY NIGHT for 9,349 days straight, wearing a beatles mop-top wig and dancing. he was/is such a local legend that i first heard of him back in high school, when his streak was only 5 years or so long and i didn't even live in st louis. he is one of the most legendary local legends i have ever heard of.
