http://www.abc.net.au/news/2011-07-19/news-corp-share-slump-murdoch/2799888

Shares in the company fell another 4 per cent on the Australian share market yesterday, closing at a two-year low of $14.16.

They are now down nearly 20 per cent since the saga began, with some analysts estimating News Corp's (international?) value has dropped by around $9 billion.

invite ← VERB (Schlafsack), Tuesday, 19 July 2011 01:25 (twelve years ago) link

root 86 tram (haitch), Tuesday, 19 July 2011 02:41 (twelve years ago) link

Amazing how many people know nothing about it though (wholly from reading nothing but murdoch press)

No call back from Kleen Design/Urban somethingsomething. I can only imagine the managers weren't keen on the idea of forgoing the Brunswick St tax.

Have since found 3 local sources for DK Jenga that compare favorably to ordering from the states with postage ($40-$55). Fuck you Kleen Design/Urban RipOff.

I CERTAINLY HOPE YOU NOT SURVIVE IN THIS FRAGILE RETAIL CLIMATE.

Basically I could go on and on and on and on (again) abt price discrepancies but I think the consequence is playing out fatally as we speak so

½ Louise Mensch (Schlafsack), Thursday, 21 July 2011 03:07 (twelve years ago) link

I mean even my internet-fearing father is considering buying car parts from the UK

LOL was that reall a staff member of UA that replied? CLassique!

I think ive been into the St K store - I bought a pink stuffed pig pillow for my neice when she was little, thinking it was exclusive and groovy, it was likely neither and now I realise I was prob ripped off too.

Well, they lowered the price to $44.95, albeit in a back-handed manner by putting my full name in capitals in the item listing on their website. If anything it's a result.

I think they took his name out, can't see it
