is it true that Gilbert does not ride carbon (I think I might have read that here?). Or maybe not in the Spring Classics? I'd love to know which frame he does the most damage on.

i reckon he's been on the aerooad more often than not since it was released - vuelta and worlds last year, milan-san remo, amstel gold i think? i have read that some lotto riders opted for the ultimate AL rather than the carbon one a couple of years ago for the spring classics; also the lotto boys tend to ride the regular ultimate CF rather than the SLX version because the latter is too light to build up legally, which is pretty lol imo.

I think the craziest bit is the cog for the chain halfway down the frame. I'm assuming it's only purpose is to stop it dragging on the floor!
