I like the first Rats and REALLY REALLY like Intermittent Signals, so In A Desperate Red sounds like it'd be a winner.
I asked Fred about that when Pierced Arrows played at a High School in town a couple years ago and he either didn't hear me (quite possible from what I understand of his hearing troubles) or just didn't feel like talking about it.

there's tons of great live footage, and their story is really pretty inspiring imo.

I just bought all three of the reissues this afternoon. They sound great, infinitely preferable to the shitty MP3s I had before. Wouldn't have thought remastering would make such a difference, hats off to Mr. Timothy Stollenwerk.

watching the doc is one of those things that makes me wanna stand up on top of my furniture with my fists in the air like I CAN DO ANYTHING

RIP. this is so sad. i was fortunate enough to share the stage w Pierced Arrows in 2010 and they were the nicest possible people. insane love and respect for these lifers.

i highly recommend the wonderful Dead Moon documentary. it's been years since i've seen it, i should give it a rewatch...

one thing that really amazed me was how DIY they were. they had built their own house. he was cutting his own records on a lathe. so badass.

A post by the Mississippi Records guy who's doing the book (I hope kickstarter won't force them to redo the whole process now the signed edition won't be signed anymore) + someone made a Dead Moon Family Tree mixtape on Pandora (in the comments) that's only for people in the USA :-/
