short ppl -- every time you see a taller person, are you consciously thinking about how they are taller than you?

I don't. But I'm 5' 7" and don't think I could ever date a girl taller than 5' 4" or so.

I'm 5'6", and I have the legs of someone a foot shorter. (There's bigger problems there than just aesthetic--I have to crawl down a number of things that I should be able to step down from.)

i'm 5'8" but my posture is such crap people take me for like 5'4" which it's kinda shitty for a short person to be thought of as much shorter than they are! like c'mon guys, i made it all the way to 5'8", give me the credit jeez.

I'm 5'4 and I love it, I a happy being a shorty. Have 6'6 flatmate so he can fix all the lights and whatnot. Last bf was about 5'5 so it was adorbs being face to face standing up for kissin.

Markers is tall and I always forget that. I think every time we've met I've been surprised and asked how tall he is again.

Same height, but I rarely feel like a particularly tall person. This is probably half down to proportions and half down to terrible posture.

i went to the store today and the fancy soda i wanted and went specifically to this store to get was on the top shelf so far up that i couldn't have reached it even if i jumped. and jumping/grabbing the soda was not an option. there was nowhere to climb either. i was standing there staring at it wondering what to do when a tall person walked around the corner into the aisle and i asked for help.

it wasn't a big deal, but i did need to go out of my way to ask for help

Haha, aaawww, LL. I am the kind of person that people always ask for help reaching stuff in the supermarket. (And, OK, yes, I usually volunteer if I see little old ladies staring in a pining manner at tins on the top shelf.)

I occasionally hang out with these two Scottish girls who are both about 6'. It makes me feel short, which is kind of funny.

I love it when people ask for my help reaching stuff! It is nice for one's height to be useful rather than just a pain of the ass when shopping for pants.

i love it too. i was in the law library the other day and the librarian was helping me with a question and she was like "but i need you to get that for me" and i felt so heroic.
