I have never "gotten" GBV. One of the most boring bands I've ever witnessed. I've been dragged to three different concerts and left every one early. Bob Pollard is a wanker and it makes me happy that they will forever live in the "indie"relm to be know by only a few. Good riddance GBV.

I'm surprised that out of three concerts, none impressed you. However, I've seen them about 5 times and they can definitely suck if Robert gets a little too drinky-drinky during the set.

"Cocksoliders and Their Postwar Stubble" has always been a favouirte song title of theirs. In fact the "Sunfish Holy Breakfast" is pretty damn good. GBV get more inspiring as I get older, in that it's not too late sorta way. Oh, and the "Watch Me Jumpstart" DVD is essential viewing.
