at a certain point the human body moves from beautiful to stupid. here we have arrived at that point

The thumbs down cover is a comp of the complete recordings of black metal band Vondur called No Compromise. I have no clue about the music, but the cover is, uh, notable. Kinda want to hear it because they cover Elvis, Judas Priest and Motley Crue. Who doesn't want to hear "Love Me Tender" and "Red Hot" in fine mid-90s black metal style?

mmmm, Brazil

Zero impact when I first saw it, but later read that Gaga took a phone photo of one of the proposed designs on her laptop to show someone else and ended up just using the phone photo. Might have been intentional from the beginning, but it's a good story.

I like it. Finding her face and hands in it is like trying to find the devil head on White Light/White Heat. Wish the technique was used for the BTW album.

Obligatory 12" remix sleeve + label combo.

Like that it hints at being retro without being a complete retro-pastiche.

DUM DUM GIRLS one is fantastic

Wow, I never realized that about the Judas cover, but now that I can see her slight reflection in it I like it a lot more (still think the song is bad).

Bugging me about Dum Dum Girls cover: small piece of leg in the "T" in "GETS" means that on a cursory glance, the record appears to be titled HE GET'S ME HIGH

IT SHOULD REALLY GO WITHOUT SAYING THAT IF A PIECE OF ALBUM ART DOES NOT INCORPORATE THE ARTIST AND ALBUM'S NAME, YOU SHOULD PROBABLY POST THAT ALONG WITH THE IMAGE
JUST SAYING

Not a fan of the Coathangers cover, but the 7" (done by the same artist, Jason Travis) is way better:

Carnivores one designed by drummer Ross Politi, who has awesome graphic design skills.

That Sweater Weather cover reminds me of the Implodes one upthread... sans saturation plus laughably hip fading.
