They could have named themselves Buttbangin' Yr Dead Grandma and that still would have been a better name.

Corey Glover played Judas in a production of Jesus Christ Superstar that rolled through town in the last couple of years. Would be awesome if he incorporated "Cult of Personality" into the show.
"Cult" alone makes me want to vote for Vivid, but I remember really loving Times Up.

Times Up for the fake nigerian groove...Solace of You, I think.

the one that came in a red cd box and went for the Tackhead sound - not just the joining of Doug - but didn't Adrian be a part of the production on a few tracks ?tis buried deep in the archive, and not overly bothered, as i'm not so sure i would enjoy it now.amiriteorrong ?

I like all three albums listed above, and even have fond memories of Biscuits. I thought they were awful when I saw them at Lollapalooza, though.

stain, in parts (auslander in particular), still sounds pretty good - dense, sinewy, explosive. the other two are fairly lightweight by comparison, and haven't aged as well. plus, for me they have an unpleasant synaesthetic dayglo effect as a result of repeated exposure to the videos for 'type' and 'cult of personality'.

I would probably not want to go back to Time's Up in full, in order--I'd cherrypick--but a lot of it still sounds good to me. (It's what I voted for, obv.)

Listening to these guys lately, esp. the three huge tracks on Times Up: pride, type, and information overload. So fucking good.
