The workout theme of Newton-John's "Physical" video clip was appropriated by Sesame Street in a segment called "Let's All Exercise" (featuring Grover and Prairie Dawn among other Muppets). "Let's All Exercise" is not an actual "cover" of "Physical" as such but could more accurately be called an interpolation.[clarification needed]

In sea world, Shekou Shenzhen, there are plenty of things to do. You can eat at McDonalds, KFC, Papa Johns, Sushi, Dunkin Doughnuts, Mexican, Starbucks, and other restaurants. It is called sea world, because it has a big ship named Minghua that is now used for a hotel. Before, it was used in the sea, but now the have docked it on shore. In the ship, there is also a restaurant named The Ex Ta Sea. In that restaurant, there are pool tables, and foose ball tables. You can also rent an electronic animal ride or a triple seated bike. Both of these things are very cheap. In front of the ship there is a little dome, and there are shops all around the edge. You can buy toys, magic tricks, and other Chinese things. Behind the ship, there is a golf course that you could also visit. This is a very happing place that a lot of celebrations are held. Almost every night, there are people having fun, eating, and buying new things. In the center of sea world, is a really smooth tiled center where people ride their bikes, S boards, skateboards, and scooters. This is why I think that you should visit Sea World in Shekou China.

lol to me because it's obvious what the genesis of this para is

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_White_(footballer)

White career spanned over 500 appearances for nine league clubs, including Bristol Rovers, Luton Town, Swindon Town and Cardiff City. He helped Swindon in several promotion campaigns and played a crucial role in the 1993 play-off victory over Leicester City at Wembley Stadium when he came off the bench to win a penalty. Steve is still held in great affection at the County Ground. His time at the club was notable for frequently straying offside, pulling his shorts up towards his nipples and invariably scoring lots of goals. He was a very awkward player to play against for opposition centre halves. The esteem for Steve was demonstrated when he returned to Swindon with Hereford for a cup tie. His goal for the visitors was cheered equally heartily by home fans as away. Steve came second in the BBC Football Focus Swindon Cult Heroes poll behind Don Rogers [1]

Candlebox's musical style, while predominately hard rock, has a wide range of influences. Some of their songs have strong references to blues, jazz, grunge, rock and even glam metal. Despite various aforementioned classic roots, their music is considered contemporary.

Episode 2, "Out-of-Time Step", borrows its plot from the Bruce Lee film Return of the Dragon. Guest star Charles Collins was in fact an old-time Hollywood dancer who starred in a movie called The Dancing Pirate, just as his character did. This is also one of the few times Henry the hamster is seen outside of his cage.

Handjobs for a sport (C. Grisso/McCain), Wednesday, 27 April 2011 04:37 (thirteen years ago) link

It is argued that once the hand is extended that the person doing the insulting must continue to face the insulted one, however, because this counters the insult by continuing to face the person while they are talking, a secondary gesture was adopted in the early 1990's to correct this common error. The phrase "talk to the hand" must be followed by a 180 degree turn away from the person being insulted. If this secondary gesture is not done immediately after raising the hand the insult is not complete.[citation needed]

Silly Putty is flammable. When lit, the flame is a very bright white but burns slowly. The leftover ash crumbles very easily. When Silly Putty is microwaved for about 3 minutes, it becomes very sticky. However, when cooled, the putty returns to its original state. When Silly Putty is baked in an oven at 450 °F (232 °C) for 15 minutes, it gives off noxious fumes. The cookie sheet on which the Silly Putty was baked will have a combination of dried putty and very hot, sticky putty.[3]

I had not previously heard of Batyr the talking elephant of Kazakhstan.

Full list of words and phrases reported to have been spoken by Batyr:

Using trunk in mouth—

"Баты́р" — Batyr — said abruptly;
"Я" — I'm — very abruptly, in combination with his name, using long pronunciation so "I'm-Batyr", sounded almost together;
"Ба́ты́р" — Batyr — thoughtfully-tenderly and lingeringly;
"Батыр, Батыр, Батыр…" — Batyr, Batyr, Batyr — joyfully running in a cage;
"Воды́" — Water — ask;
"Хоро́ший" — Good — as in "good fellow";
"Батыр хоро́ший" — Good Batyr;
"Ой-ё-ёй" — Oh-yo — sonorously;
"Дурак" — Fool — seldom and abruptly;
"Плохой" — Bad — rarely;
"Батыр плохой" — Bad Batyr — rarely;
"Иди́" — Go;
"Ба́-ба" — short form of "babushka" — grandmother; short children's sound "ba"; also it means "married woman" (now this form is considered rude and can be used concerning any woman);
"Да́" — Yes;
"Дай" — Give (me);
"Дай-дай-дай" — Give, give, give;
"Раз-два-три" — One, two, three — while dancing, turning and hopping.

Others sounds:

A human-like whistle;
Human speech allegedly uttered at infrasonic and ultrasonic frequencies;
A gnashing sound imitative of rubber or polyfoam (foam plastic) on glass;
The peep of rats or mice;
The bark of dogs;
The natural blares of elephants.

In October 2009, bosses at the psychiatric hospital were criticised by worried staff and politicians for offering inmates the chance to win £50 by solving a wordsearch which would help pick names for the wards, due to open next year. One insider said: "It seems strange that some of the most dangerous criminals in the country could end up naming the new Carstairs... Perhaps the victims of some of these violent criminals will share the concerns expressed by some staff that this isn't appropriate."[4]

Wtf, this is from the article on Journey's "Escape".

Stone in Love

"Stone in Love", the second track from the album Escape, starts with a riff, and then the drums enter. Then, Steve Perry comes in with the vocals, and then the bass enters. The first solo (played by Neal Schon) falls between the first chorus and second verse, and the second solo falls between the second and final chorus. The final solo is played at the end of the song, and it lasts for about two minutes. The line "Stone in love" is sung five times after the final chorus. That line is whispered before the guitar solo builds up, and then it is sung before the first lick in the guitar solo is played. Then, it is sung again after the first lick and before the second lick. The third repetition of "Stone in love" is sung after the third lick and before the fourth lick. The fourth repetition of that line is sung after the fifth lick and before the sixth lick. The last repetition of "Stone in love" is sung after the seventh lick and before the eighth lick. Then, the music fades away.

Texas Roadhouse is a chain restaurant that specializes in steaks and promotes a western theme.[1] Texas Roadhouse Corporation is headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky.

Lone Star opened its first restaurant in October 1989 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In March 1992, Lone Star became a public company with eight restaurants opened. On February 18, 2008, Lone Star closed 27 restaurants to leave the company with 152 locations. Curiously, none of the Texas-themed restaurants can be found in the state of Texas, from which the restaurant's name is derived.
