Songs Ohia is great, haven't really heard too much Magnolia Electric Co.. i know Didn't It Rain is suppose to be the standard and is great. my personal favorite Songs Ohia's album is his last 2003's Magnolia Electric Co.

"Incantation" off of Ghost Tropic absolutely rips! Slowly, slowly descending into the dark.. That whole record is amazing. Magnolia's pretty great too, but I love that post-blues feel of SO.

Ghost Tropic might be my favourite Molina thing. Followed by Magnolia Electric Co (the album) and Didn't It Rain. I never cared for Magnolia the band, but maybe I got off to a bad start with them (a turgid live album). Maybe I should give them another go.

God damn, that is rough to hear. I was just wondering this weekend when we'd hear more from him. I really hope he gets himself back in a good place again, even if it means he doesn't make any more music. He was insanely nice when I talked to him really briefly at the first Intonation Festival.
